Controls the shutters by sunlight

Post by bing »

Already a long time I'm looking for a circuit that depends on the light make a contact and my SM10E controls so the shutters automatically go down too much sunlight.
My question is has anyone experience with such a circuit homemade or bought?

I think that your project will be hard to setup.
I mean: you want your shutters to work on sunlight, but this is a condition with multiple levels settings.
Solar radiation, has an intensity range (irradiance) that can be measured by a sensor like this
http://www.hydrolynx.com/_products/sens ... /M4015.htm
You see that output is from 0 to 5 volts, proportional to the solar radiation obviously, but this output is a simple off/on for a sm10e device.
sm10 will work only on max. solar radiation , on 5v output, but i'm sure you would like it to work on 1-2-3-4,xx volts output.
Ciao, lorenzo.

This module may be your solution , it will close the relay (contacts) depending on the light intensity ...... http://www.displayconsumer.nl/Velleman- ... MK125.html

On a relay you will have two contacts one set will close and the other one will open .. so you have to select the right one .... . technical it is NC (normal close) and NO (normal open) Henk
