New Toon firmware 5.13.12
Hi all,
Eneco (or Quby) released toon firmware 5.13.9. They state that there are no changes except of 'auto update'.
In fact there are a few changes internally, related to a future where the VPN isn't used anymore and where the Toon will connect (probably) to a cloud service center (instead of over the VPN).
But for now this feature isn't enabled yet in 5.13.9.
Also for the Toon2 in 5.13.9 there is support for the CO2 and particale sensor. But also this feature isn't enabled yet.
But I haven't found any evidence for a auto-update feature. As I understand this auto-update will be enabled in their update script and this is not related to the firmware 5.13.9. For now this auto-update is only enabled for TST and ACC toon's only in the eneco official update script, no production toons. If auto-update will be enabled, this will never work on rooted toons as long as the VPN is disabled. Maybe they will enabled download updates over the internet also in the future (instead of VPN). But at that time we will probably have blocked that also
Updating your rooted toon, with the TSC update script or using the 'check update button' in the TSC menu, is now supported to 5.13.9. There is however, for now, no reason to update.

Okay,
thanks for your information.
thanks for your information.
Re: New Toon firmware 5.13.9
Eneco just halted 5.13.9 for unknown reasons (https://forum.eneco.nl/software-en-hard ... post221834) so I removed 5.13.9 from the update-script as a valid update also.

Re: New Toon firmware 5.13.9
Is it wise to downgrade back to the previous version?

No. Just stick with 5.13.9. I think it is just related to some issue's with there remote mobile app and this new version

Re: New Toon firmware 5.13.12
Eneco just launched 5.13.12 as a fix for RRD issue's in 5.13.9.
This new version is now available for rooted toons also using the update script or the check update button in the TSC menu. Have fun! (though nothing visible changed ... )

But from what version did you update from? Disk full is only known to happen from 3.x or 4.x to 5.x, but we force you to update to 5.0.4 first. Can you share your /mnt/data/update/upgrade-qb2.sh.log ?

Re: New Toon firmware 5.13.12
Yes because you still have 18% free according to your previous post but the eneco script (their script, not mine) failed uppon downloading package files for 'out of space''. Think it was just a glitch.michel30 wrote: Otherwise I will do a reboot and try again.
First though, just to be sure, remove all files in /mnt/data/update and then reboot.
This only contains the already downloaded files and logs. Those are safe to remove.
