Re: My new version of the gateway in the housing D1
What is it about Opentherm that inspires creativity in the Netherlands and in Russia?! It seems to be more or less unknown elsewhere including the US (although its inventor is an American company).

How to regain remote control after manual change
Question: what is the action that makes OTGW take over the control? My thermostat: Honeywell Round Modulation OTGW version: OTGW+OPiZ Some own code, which talks to OTGW to provide scheduling functionality Initial situation: everything functions properly, I can read room temperature and set room setp...

Re: Get room temperature using Monitor web-server command
Thanks! I think it was a good idea to rename "temperature" to "roomtemp", to make it unambiguous. For now, let's just remember that it can be both. In my code, I'll implement both versions, for compatibility with both versions of your code.

Re: Get room temperature using Monitor web-server command
You can use any Tcl command in a template, including ones that were defined in the application... OK, then apparently I should have asked: where can I find the list of defined variables? I mean, you used setpoint, boilertemp, returntemp, controlsp. How would I know the name for a variable for room ...

Re: OTGW and Orange Pi Zero one device.
It is root/orangepi, as also briefly mentioned by Cyril at the top of this threadbruce_miranda wrote:What about SSH access into the armbian. What's the root user and password?
SSH works just fine. I've set up SSH keys and disabled password login, as usual.

Re: Get room temperature using Monitor web-server command
Schelte, thanks a lot! The TMPL-based solution is nice. Two questions:
- This TMPL-based method—can I read about it somewhere?
- Can I find the complete list of available commands anywhere?

Re: OTGW and Orange Pi Zero one device.
Once you load the OS image and get the Orange Pi connected to your network, how do you interact with the OT gateway? I'm guessing the OS on the Orange Pi is headless, so where is the OT Monitor loaded? I.e. how do view the data? I've tried one method so far. Let's say your OPi IP is 192.168.1.9. Th...

Get room temperature using Monitor web-server command
I've started playing with the OTGW+OPiZ , and it works fine. I am using the command-method to send commands to OTGW, e.g. 192.168.1.25:8080/command?TC=21 sends the room temperature set point of 21 degree. In the "status" web-page, I can see that the "Remote override room setpoint"...

Re: The Future for Opentherm
I am currently in the quest of finding the best thermostat for my rented house. I wanted it to be remotely controllable (with a smartphone), take into account the heating curve of the house, and control the DHW "comfort" mode of my combi boiler. The house came equipped with a Honeywell Rou...

Re: OTGW and Orange Pi Zero one device.
Yes. But you have to solder wire to connect RPi with board. Also you can buy OrangePI Zero, install Armbian or Openwrt, activate relay port and connect from RPi via ethernet or wifi. I'd asked because I already have a RPi 3, so it would be simpler to try with it. If I buy your board, would you be a...

Re: OTGW and Orange Pi Zero one device.
I've maybe a stupid question, please excuse my ignorance: why does this setup need a power supply, if OpenTherm provides the power from the boiler? Would it be possible to use that power? Also, what do I connect to the 4 orange terminals? I currently have a single 2-wire cable running between an Ope...
