Well, using the upgrade script to force to go to 4.20.7 seems to have fixed it for me. Thanks for all your help!

I can get to the u-boot via the serial connection from my Raspberry Pi. Preferably I would be able to mount the rootfs and use a vi like tool to eddit the file. Would this be possible?

In an attempt to get ToonStore working on my freshly rooted Toon I uploaded the resource files. From that point onwards my Toon would hang during boot, but SSH was still available. No error messages during install as far as I could see. It also showed a message in the inbox that the install was successful. I restarted my Toon a few times afterwards.

Just installed ToonStore on my rooted Toon with firmware 4.19.10. The icon and menu item is not showing up. Is this a known issue? If so, what is the solution?
