thanks for confirming my suspicion that it is Windows 10 thing.
I will borrow an old laptop from work to get this thing done.

But then I have to make a decision to migrate to Homeseer 3 or switch to Fibaro. Decisions, decisions, decisions....

Whitelist: could be a solution for younger kids. But for a 9 year old, it probably is a very time-intensive solution. I have a daughter 9 years old who is becoming quite active on internet (youtube, games, research for school) and I want to avoid her stumbling across bad/adult sites. With so many devices in the house, I have tried do some research, but I would love to hear how you guys have done this for your kids....

I have homeseer but use an approach you might use. Whenever my machines uses less than x watt I set a timer. The timer stops and resets whenever the watt becomes more than x. When the timer reaches y minutes it sends a push message. It cost me three rounds to determine the closest y possible. But, ...

Is it a suggestion if you contact Fritz.box to request re-adding TelNet functionality in their next firmware update?
I´m sure they are unaware that they have now disappointed some (many?) users and that they probably don´t know about your plugin.
