Controlling heating appliances

Thanx Snelvuur, Bwired, Dowser for useful insight and knowledge :) Well, seems that a RF unit will give me least amount of hazzle, given the phase problem. But being a newbie I'm not entirely convinced that I know what I'm talking about. Monitoring temperature fluctuations and controlling it, I sens...

Controlling heating appliances

What technology is best for controlling in-house electrical heating? Norwegians has a "clean" electricity production, so many of us use wall-mounted "panel" ovens (won't get into a discussion wether or not this is smart). Have searched the net in norway, and found several proprie...

LM12 lamp module reduces power output

Thanx Dowser! Thing is, I've been reading too many manuals lately. Too much to process :)
The lamp has been put back in storage.

Thanx for the tip Bwired, next batch of lamp modules will not be bought in ignorance :)

This is fun :)

LM12 lamp module reduces power output

This is a generic question, so I can assess if this behaviour is something I have to live with. The lamp itself is not important, used it for testing only. Plugged in a regular light bulb lamp, output:40W. And the difference in output was significant. It's like its dimmed to 75%. I also tried a spot...

MS13 and ActiveHome macros

Thanks for your suggestions Bwired. I pretty much knew that would be the answer. But I haven't been able to find any (free) replacement yet. Not interested in buying applications like Homeseer, Girder or AH Pro. It would be an overkill. I tried to use X10Controller, but it shuts down because it can'...

MS13 and ActiveHome macros

Hi people! I just discovered the world of home automation, and have bought several Marmitek modules (CM11, TM13, Lamp & app modules, etc). I only wanted centralized dimming of lights but soon discovered other powerful uses[:D]. So I bought the Motion Sensor MS13 and wanted it to run a macro turn...
