Re: Does my Honeywell Modulation modulate?
Your thermostat is requesting a desired boiler temperature and the boiler is modulating the desired power to achieve the boiler setpoint temperature. From the pictures you sent it is working good. The oscillating part between 13:00 and 15:00 h (picture in opening post) is the so-called Low Load cont...

Re: Chronotherm 4 defaults to program - WAF compromised!!
Schelte, it's no nonsens but a fact that the new thermostat solved the problems I faced! Let me be more precise on the issue. First of all, since my last posting, I unfortunately had other issues on my mind than do logging and fiddling around with my OTGW and thermostat and send you the logs. So I h...

Re: Chronotherm 4 defaults to program - WAF compromised!!
Meanwhile I've installed a Chronotherm Touch Modulation to replace the Chronotherm IV Modulation. Problem solved! The Touch seems to be more stable in combination with the OTGW.

Re: Chronotherm 4 defaults to program - WAF compromised!!
I've checked for a setting in the thermostat to disable the remote setpoint override, but I could'nt find any. When operating with a manual setpoint of 20.5 °C after a random time the setpoint is being reset to the daily program of 18.5 °C. In this example at 19:45:40.644131 19:45:00.078158 Command ...

Re: Chronotherm 4 defaults to program - WAF compromised!!
I checked my log and couldn't find anything strange. But I'll record them and send you the log. I'll try to find out whether the setpoint override can be ignored by the thermostat and if that helps.

Chronotherm 4 defaults to program - WAF compromised!!
With my OTGW connected the Chronotherm 4 room thermostat sometimes switches back to its daily program. I didn't experience this during summer, but now in the colder season, when the room setpoint is manually increased to 20.5°C, I notice that every now and then the room thermostat witches back to it...

Re: Opentherm gateway and script integration into Homeseer
Hi Yoja, so it was you who made the first HS attemt. I edited my post to give you the credits! I didn't have any problems with the physical telnet communication to the OTG, it was merely a timing issue abot when and how to poll for data from the gateway. This is what can happen as a response to a &q...

Re: Opentherm gateway and script integration into Homeseer
Hi, I have a working HS script. To be honest, I downloaded a HS3 OT script, but I don't know the source anymore. It is a modified version of the HS2 plugin from the opening post. I have attached this original HS script (OT_script_HS3.rar). All credits to the unknown author! [edit] the "unknown&...

Re: splitting P1 to 2 device's
Hi there, I use a simple telephone splitter. The thing is, one of the signal lines is being used to "trigger" the P1 port to start sending the datagrams. The trigger line is (whenI remember well) pulling up the input of the P1 port to 5 Volt. This is done by the device connected to the P1 ...
