OTMonitor v6.5 stops passing commands from MQTT to serial

OTmonitor v6.4 can be controller using MQTT. For instance: topic 'otgw/actions/ctrlsetpt' message '{"value": 29}' Sets the CS to 29. The log shows in response: ... Command (via MQTT): CS=29 After upgrading to OTmonitor v6.5 this stopped working. The log no longer shows the command being re...

Re: Max CH water setpoint with PS=1

So the Max CH water set point of the PS=1 command reflects the value the thermostat has requested/written. Not the actual setting of the boiler nor the override value set using SH=58. Which the gateway has stored successfully as we can see it override the thermostat request with R90393A00 and the bo...

Max CH water setpoint with PS=1

Running version 4.2.4 on my Gateway against a Remeha Avanta I dynamically change the Max CH water setpoint using the SH command (to force HR80 to fully open in at least one zone but that is another subject). I noticed the PS=1 command never returns the Mac CH setpoint I have set. Looking at the mess...

Re: No boiler messsages, delay symmetry way off

Oeps. With daylight I see the light brown was actually yellow... I had put in 330k. After correcting it the delay symmetry is fixed:

OK1A high-to-low: 19us
OK1A low-to-high: 11us
OK1B high-to-low: 4us
OK1B low-to-high: 6us

Thank you very much!

Re: No boiler messsages, delay symmetry way off

The diodes and zeners are in the correct position and orientation as well.

No boiler messsages, delay symmetry way off

After completing my Opentherm Gateway I noticed few B messages and a lot of 2 and 4 errors. Running the delay with a closed loop between the X1 and X2 results in these values: OK1A high-to-low: 10us OK1A low-to-high: 137us OK1B high-to-low: 1228us OK1B low-to-high: 4us Results for OK1B are the same ...

Re: Evohome / Evotouch Wireless protocol?

Yesterday I opened an HR80 to see what is inside (very simple). The microprocessor is an ATMEL MEGA169PV accompanied by a TDA5250. I guess this rules out that the protocol would depend on packet features of the CC1101. The main board also contains 2 rows of 4 holes which seem to form a JTAG interfac...

Re: Evohome / Evotouch Wireless protocol?

Closer inspection on the bit level reveal this is more likely a missed bit. The 0xAA and 0x80 are one bit different from 0x55 and 0x00.

Re: Evohome / Evotouch Wireless protocol?

I am also successfully monitoring the RF traffic using the HoneyComm project on github and and RFBee+UartSBee. Very nice. The HoneyComm software syncs the CC110 on FF 00 (also show in paragraph 2.2 of the protocol pdf). However I see this a lot: FF 00 33 55 53 A9 A2 D4 D3 B4 CB AD D4 D5 CD CC D2 B4 ...

Re: Evohome / Evotouch Wireless protocol?

Could the HRA80 (external antenna) perhaps be a useful device to monitor Evohome RF traffic? The HRA80 is connected using a 2 wire bus (B+ and ground it seems). A single device can be used to up to 3 HCE80 devices. Binding is done from the HCE80 so the HRA80. Perhaps this is just a generic bridge fo...
