Re: Opentherm Gateway 4.0 alpha/beta testers wanted
Ok, setting QT (with an iSense) again after the first one was successful, results in failure. It's fails to set the new temperature, instead the system falls back to the original program. Changing the roomsetpoint by hand (at the iSense) also results in failure (the original program takes over). Ove...

Re: Opentherm Gateway 4.0 alpha/beta testers wanted
I would not start to worry about this when it's just a one-off. I'm going to run the otmonitor with logging on for a while now (and also run some test that are long over due). I'll leave the log running the whole night and see if it shows anything interesting.

Re: Opentherm Gateway 4.0 alpha/beta testers wanted
Downloaded it right away, installed it yesterday evening.. this morning when I came down the iSense said F203(not contact with the boiler) (for the first time ever). Not sure if it is related to the firmware upgrade but it sure is a funny coincidence.

Cool! I'm not dependent on the OTGW yet, so I can give it a shot

Re: shades/blinds/projector screen control
Hi Bert, rfxcom supports a couple of blinds/screens/curtain systems right? I'm currently looking for a a system to use these kinds of screens http://www.zonweringstunter.nl/read/screens (link is just an example does not have to be that brand). What would you suggest? What would be the best option to...

Re: RFXSensor refresh rate
Yes, afaik that is posible and configurable. It's in the manual how to change the frequency but I cannot find the rfxmeter manual on the rfxcom site at time moment.. Would be nice to see wiki-like documentation on their site. It's such a great product, but documentation is not always easy to find im...

Re: Woonveilig equipment with Fibaro HC2
As far as I know the Woonveilig stuff is not zwave, not even near. As far as I know it uses 868 Mhz RF and a proprietary protocol.

As far as I know, that is not posible (yet) with domotiga.

Re: Newbie Question Arduino USB support
I would go for the jeelabs arduino compatible jeenodes: Domotiga already has support for them, plus they are cheap and have RF. http://www.domotiga.nl/projects/domotiga/wiki/JeeLabs . While arduino's are nice for prototyping, jeelabs are a better fit for domotica needs (form factor and power-wise) i...

Re: Smoke detectors
I'm using FA20RF's with the RFXCOM transceivers. But I don't mind testing them every now and then (also to check if the domotica system picks up the alarm). Having a heartbeat and battery-low warning would be a nice bonus, but I comes at a price

Re: Overriding temperature setpoint with OTG and iSense
Reading back the tread (again). I think I have the same iSense firmware version as bus147 and will probably run into the same bugs. I'm still trying to understand what exactly is going on with the iSense and the OTGW. I'm not sure what currently working and what's not (at all). I thought the Overrid...
