Re: Solution to monitor water/gas/electricity?

I use it with the reflective sensor, there is a little spinning wheel that turns around one time per liter
took some time to carefully calibrate the reflective sensor, but last year my rfxmeter was only 12 liters off with the main meter

on yearly base I think this is acceptable :)

Re: Not licensed for extended scripting

for people who moved to latest version 2.25 (build 20160203.0) you need to go to 0x4A8D and change the byte from 06 to 17 to go pro :D

Re: ESP8266 topic

is there someone who already made serial <> Ethernet relay for monitoring the P1 port on the "smartmeter" I will get a smartmeter here in a couple of weeks, and the ESP seems to be a nice device to send the readout data to an server in-house so if someone already has a nodemcu lua script a...

Re: Bluetooth 4.0 (smart / low energy) presence detection

the range of stick'n find is not so best, i bought myself and my wife an fitbit, it looks like those have much better range than the stick'n find and we can keep track of our steps / hart-rate etc :) running a script in nodejs as webservice, were my domotica makes an call to, and galileo to decode a...

Re: Anybody knows/using Niles Smart Home Services?

I checked their page, but there is nothing new or innovating I could find there, only the basic stuff like turn lights on, and off, control heater and. ehhh I think that was it :) also only 2 quotes from "niles" users on the site, only 3 blog posts, and a lack on information.. this does no...

Re: Xtrusion Domotica Project

30 to 40 meters would be ideal, but I'm not even getting half of that. Maybe 6, 7 meters. I've tried a LogiLink BT0015 and Conceptronic 1004108 CBT40NANO. Both 100 meter LE bluetooth 4.0 usb dongles. The problem could be the pi's location. It's in the hallway, behind a door (meterkast) surrounded b...

Re: Xtrusion Domotica Project

i created a nodejs script running on an rPI, this script is doing an HCITOOL LESCAN, and returns the "in range" mac addresses of the stickNfind tags
the nodeJS is setting up a websocket on the pi, so i can query it for data from my other applications
