Re: Receiver problem
I don't know what a beam antenna is, this one has just a piece of coax connected. When I press a button on the remote it peaks to about -20db. I've walked around a bit with this machine but I haven't noticed any peaks. I've also asked around in the neighbourhood but there are no weatherstations etc ...

Re: Receiver problem
Update: someone was kind enough to let me use a spectrum analyzer. I've played around a bit with it and I do see a peak when i push the button on a kaku remote but apart from that: I don't know how to locate the source of the problem. Am I looking for a frequent peak ? Constant peak ? And on/around ...

Re: Receiver problem
I have no X10 sensors I have no sensors with almost empty batteries I have not installed new sensors, I have removed 2 temp-sensors (didn't solve the problem) I will try and see what happens when I remove the batteries from the windmeter (note: this is the only stable sensor at the moment and it is ...

Re: Receiver problem
I have the exact same problem, my Cresta sensors have worked perfectly for 7 months and now I have the same problem as described above. I have changed the batteries etc. I do get updates from the sensors every now and then but sometimes only once per hour. Only the windmeter doesn't give any problem...

Re: KAKU ACDB6500
But still: I don't understand why it does work the other way around: rxcom transceiver can activate the doorbell. Update: removed the switch from Domoticz. Changed the house-code on the transmitter, pushed the button, device appeared under devices in Domoticz. Added the switch, changed type to doorb...

Re: KAKU ACDB6500
The doorbell (senderunit) is right next to the RFXtr433. I have checked with RFXmngr and I see the doorbell pushbutton command sometimes but most of the times not. The doorbell sounds every time I push the button and the doorbell sounds everytime I push the switch in Domoticz. So, it's working perfe...

KAKU ACDB6500
Hi, I have connected the transmitter of the ACDB6500 doorbell to my existing doorbell (using a relay switch). Now, when I press the doorbell, my existing doorbell sounds, it activates the relay, the Kaku transmitter sends a signal and the KAKU doorbell sounds. So far so good, technically its working...

I've seen that, comes at a price though. Looking for a more affordable alternative.

Sensor Electricity/Gas usage
Hi,
I just got an RFXCom and have succesfully installed Domoticz. Now I want to register my electricty/gas usage. What hardware (sensors) should i get ? ( I have little experience in soldering so i prefer a finished product).
thanks !
