10 year old OTGW still running, can't connect otmonitor

I bought and assembled an OTGW 10 years ago, and it still is running flawlessly :-). I donwloaded OTmonitor because i plan to invole a MQTT broker for distributing values across my home automation, but OTmonitor won't connect over TCP. Should Otmonitor even work with a 10 year old OTGW (version 4.0b...

Re: Test programma domotica interface

Re: Kickstarter: NEEO, the thinking remote

Logitech has been doing this for a couple of years already? (Harmony Hub). Granted, this looks sleeker, but Harmony One universal remote users have learned by now that a touch screen on a remote is not ideal.

Cheap solution to log current or power?

For my hobby solar project ( 2 old solar panels with a small inverter and an old car battery which drives my garden lighting), i am looking for a cheap solution to log the current or power generated by the solar panels. A diy electronic circuit would be fine. I also have thought about using a digita...

This puzzles me a bit. I would like to interpret this like the previous/regular RFXtrx433 will also support the Somfy protocol through future firmware updates?

Re: OTGW DIY - AWB ThermoMaster 2HR, doesn't seem to work

When you put the OTGW together and it still was loaded with the diagnostic firmware, did you run a diagnostic test (via File, Diagnostics in OTMonitor) ? Furthermore, see http://otgw.tclcode.com/debugging.html I remember i had to raise the reference voltage to 6 (VR=6) altough diagnostics where fine

Re: Opentherm Gateway 4.0 alpha/beta testers wanted

What probably happens is that because your house is warm enough to not need the central heating to come on, also the pump hasn't been running. Inside your heater the same flame is used to heat the built-in hot water boiler and the water in the central heating system. So whenever the water in the bo...

Re: Opentherm Gateway 4.0 providing false T1 T2 to boiler?

I just noticed the strangest thing: Domoticz was showing that the CWH temperature of my Calenta heater was around 55 degrees celcius, while its sunny and hot outside, and the heater isn't heating. Further investigation reveals Domoticz was reporting this temperature since 31 march / 1 april: http://...

Re: Antenna for RFXTRX433

. Don't want such a bulky antenna Nothing much you can do about that. These antenna's work optium when multiple pieces of conductor at a quarter length of the frequency wave length are used. So thats a dipole, consisting of 2x 17cm , or a ground plane of 4x17 cm with a monople of 17cm. Nice (techni...

If the new sockets pair OK with the old Homeeasy remote, why just not use the old protocol?

Re: RFXCom Red led solid lit after reboot Synology, needs unplug

Your kernel/user-space is likely probing/initing the device, which is what is causing this. You should check which modules are attempted to load and if you maybe have a serial console defined in /etc/inittab or /etc/init.d/* (and other locations depending on your distro) Hi Jeroen, thanks, yes, tha...

Too bad, this string doesn't seem to get the RFXCom out of the bootloader.

Its odd, the RFXCom used to start up succesfully in the past after a Synology reboot.

I'm using Domoticz (you'll have to compile from sources yourself). Also usbserial.ko and ftdi_serial.ko should be loaded.
