this is Raspberry related .. but since the technology is almost the same ... i dare to ask here ;) i use a pi-face bboar which triggers the inputs via null. over an 1.8Kohm Resistor .. so all looks very straight forward. BUT the reed sensor attached to it (on a 10 meter cable) trips randomly the boa...

i faced the same problem. solved it with a raspberry and pi-face module. 8 in 8 outs (2 relays already on board) added 2 temperature sensors ... everything working like a charm with micasaverde controller and a tiny pyton app on the PI .. on top of that it does also datalogging onto a mysql database

they are very much avaiable.. and so far the best ones you can get.
if you require energy metering feature the aeon labs may be a better choice.
but for normal dimming - on/off in-wall ... the fibaro just keep what they promise !

thanks Henk, i plan to use the FIbro Universal .. because it does have 2 Outputs and 2 Analog inputs. the idea with just to cut off the solenoid via Relais is not so bad. i installed the door Yesterday and play with the Modes alittle bit .. simpulate all scenarios. the remote programming is simple ....
