Re: Aiut Smart Gas Metering Protocol

Just as an update to this thread... after I ignored the thing for the best part of a year. Last night I finally hooked my RFXCom up to a Windows machine and using RFXmngr I enabled a single protocol at a time. Sadly nothing at all was caught by RFXmngr. I also used a SDR to grab the radio signal, an...

Aiut Smart Gas Metering Protocol

Afternoon all, I have a OKO 5513 and Alevel 0214 attached to my LPG tank for level monitoring, but it's no longer used as I changed supplier. I'm interested in the possibility of receiving data from the Alevel sensor, as it transmits on 433Mhz. In addition, whilst they are sealed units, replacement ...

Homie and 1-wire

Morning all, Just thought I'd drop in the little Arduino code on ESP8266 hardware project that I have. For a while now I was running a string of 1-wire temperature sensors off of a Raspberry Pi, which were then pushed onto an MQTT bus. With a desire to retire the Pi, I moved on to an ESP8266, with s...

Re: Imagintronix offset on v79

Hi folks, This is the RFXmngr output from versions 78. 79 and 88, with respect to the Imagintronix/Viking sensors. All readings were taken within half an hour, and the temperature stayed around the same. FIRMWARE 78 ====================== ------------------------------------------------ Packettype =...

Re: Imagintronix offset on v79

Hey, Back from holidays and all refreshed... Tried upgrading to v83, and sadly the Imagintronix sensors are reading too high. This is from moments after the upgrade, in Domoticz 132 RFXCom CD00 0 Study Temp + Humidity Viking 02035, 02038, TSS320 70.4 C, 36 % 6 100 Remove Device Log 2015-01-23 21:04:...

Re: Imagintronix offset on v79

Been abroad for 5 weeks. Back soon, and will try to reproduce again when I'm local to the environment.

Re: Imagintronix offset on v79

Yup, can confirm. Dropping back to v78 causes the sensors to return to approximately normal.

Will drop an email to the support line :-)

Imagintronix offset on v79

Evening all, 2 weeks ago I upgraded from firmware 78 to 79 on my rfxtrx433, and all is well except data from my collection of cheap Imagintronix temp & humidity sensors. They're all reading about 50 degrees higher than before the firmware upgrade - graphs at https://www.flickr.com/photos/kylegor...

Re: RfxTrx433 & MDREMOTE Problem/Bug

Yup, you're right. I have no idea what was wrong with my test setup then. Took it all apart, and rewired it, and things start working as intended. Maybe I was low on coffee :-)

Thanks for your time, Bert

Re: What Linux software are you guys using?

I'm using Domoticz on a Debian VM with USB passthrough to my RFXCom, and it rocks. Been sorely tempted by OpenHAB too, but not enough yet :-) I thought about doing a lot from scratch, but then realised I also have to get out the house! I wrote a bunch of MQTT daemons recently to help hook things tog...

RfxTrx433 & MDREMOTE Problem/Bug

Hi all, I have an RfxTrx433 on fw71, and all seems to be well except the MDRemote support. The user manual indicates that the unique ID is the second and third byte, which can be obtained by using Undec On and X10. Now, I've picked up 2046BD01FA and 202D41016D from my two remotes, but when using the...
