I want to connect Toon from my Mac (later on from Domoticz but that needs a VNC connection).

I have installed V11VNC on the Toon. I was searching for a VNC program for my mac, Tiger and Bvnc are only available as source. I found Real VNC.
Made an account at Real VNC. Too bad i cannot connect with the local ip I think too bad Real VNC is not working this way.

I also have an old Laptop (with Windows) but if i try to download an exe file i found that also for Windows there is only source code.

What do your quys use for VNC connection?

As i can not find any app of Tigervnc only source i tried Bvnc on Samsung phone. Tried with local ip Bvnc> 192.168.178.70:22 user > with the install of x11vnc on Toon there was no user only password, So i used root and my password installed on x11vnc. Error Connection failed with a lot of errors

Have you opened port 5900 on the Toon in the /etc/default/iptables.conf ?
Password has been set when you first ran x11vnc on Toon. Stupid question maybe: is x11vnc running on Toon? Installation itself is not enough, you have to start it as well.

yes i followed the documentation install x11vnc accessing Toon through VNC. i also reboot twice. But how can i check if VNC on the toon is started.

Block of changes on inittab:

# HCBv2 static stuff
#ovpn:235:respawn:/usr/sbin/openvpn --config /etc/openvpn/vpn.conf --verb 0 >/dev/null 2>&1
qtqt:245:respawn:/usr/bin/startqt >/dev/null 2>&1
# add serial console access: (added, MR!):
gett:235:respawn:/sbin/getty -L 115200 ttymxc0 vt102

if you issue the 'top' command in a shell you will see the active processes.
Somewhere in that list should be x11vnc

Or start it again in a shell with the command 'x11vnc'. If it responds with port 5901 than it was already running also on port 5900

I have no experience with RealVNC. It should be working fine from your Android phone though (connection type Basic VNC)

I found that and i have changed it to server (let VNC choose) but the error still stays. What about the user name?

bvnc is working now, so the configuration on the Toon is fine. Only the operation on a mobile is not really nice in my opinion.

So on your macbook it is working now?

What do you mean on the cellphone it is not okay?
On my Iphone it looks the same as my macbook only you need to move your mouse over the screen.

It's all too small, always shifting me, and once you've got to enter something, it's all a party, constantly wrong letters and numbers. Without glasses not at all. For me not the best option. But at least now, if ii really has to log in externally it could. On the Toon the settings are good, so now to the next step, Toon Connect with Domoticz. It is a pity that at this moment it is not yet possible to do everything on a single machine. Homeseer because plugwise is not going anywhere else, Domoticz for Zwave and Hue, and some 433 sensors, Toon for the thermostat, would be nice if it could all be in just one system.

And i have no Macbook my main machine is a Mac Mini. just 14 watts. And No With VNCViewer, i got no connect, tried a lot of settings in Expert but alway's gives the same error mentioned before
