toon binding for OpenHab2

Post by bartch »

Hi,
i know there is a binding in openhab for Toon, but this requires the Eneco username and Password. Since i am not longer a customer of Eneco, i don't have them anymore. Is there another way to connect my rooted toon to Openhab? I searched the forum but can't find anything that works.

The component requires the Eneco username and password because it uses their API.

For Home Assistant and Domoticz a custom component/script was developed to support rooted Toons.

The Eneco API-Toon component was merged into HASS.

And here is the rooted variant.

If you check the source you can see it's different. A development effort will have to be made to support the rooted Toon in OpenHAB2.
