Flamingo SF-501 switches.

Post by ramnol »

I bought today a cheap set of switches: Flamingo SF-501 (three switches and a remote control).
They are suppose to be compatible with home wizard.

Can these switches be controlled by the Rfxcom transmitter?

Thanks in advance.

Ramnol.

Yes they can be controlled by the RFXCOM.
I have bought the same set (really cheap at "Action" and they work in my case. (RFXCOM + Domoticz on a Pi 3b)

Hi Mike,

I'm trying to get these switches working but i can't seem to fix it. How did you figure out the codes for all buttons (on/off)? Did you use RFSniffer for this? Because, this doesn't work for me. I must be doing something (if not a lot) wrong. Have u got some suggestions?

Thanks,
Frank

Hi,
I've also bought the SF-501 ,
to my raspberry i've connected a RF 433 receiver and transmitter kit
When sending codes with the codesend command I receive them with RFSniffer
however when transmitting with the RF501 remote controller I don't receive anything with RFSniffer (the switches are working so i know a signal is transmitted)
anyone any idea how to get it working?
thanks i advance

Flamingo SF-501 can be controlled by all RFXCOM transmitters and transceivers using the RFXCOM - AC protocol.
The SF-501 remote is received by all RFXCOM receivers and transceivers.
