Scanner + software?

Post by Snelvuur »

I think we allready had a topic on this one, but i'am really looking now for a good sollution with a nice price..

I'am searching for a duplex scanner.. so far i've noticed mindbenders monster which is nice (but pricy)

Others are:

HP Scanjet 7650 573,- ex btw http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/nl/nl/sm ... 34502.html
HP Officejet Pro L7780 377,- ex btw (says its duplex scanner)
Fujitsu scansnap 350'ish ??? http://193.128.183.41/home/v3__wgroup.asp?wg=40&L=en (easy form factor)
Xerox Documate 252 800 euro? expnsive http://www.xeroxscanners.com/en/uk/prod ... efault.asp

Where as most seem to like the xerox one.. any of you have different devices that do the job, which could be a good one?

My mail is stacking up as we speak, mainly because i had to flip the pages..

Scanner + software?

How many pages do I have to scan on a day, that is he first question you have to ask to yourself, and in how much time I want to do this. Must it be color or greyscale. Then look in your wallet of there is enough money.
A few other scanners.

you could use a avision scanner. If you are interested you could look at retsoft's Scan & Sorteer (www.retsoft.com)
I'm using it for a time now and if you use the pro version included with the OCR function it works as a dream. I use it also for scanning the index pages of magazine's so i 'm able to find an article in an easy way.

Chak: i dont see that this one has duplex "scanning" option, like most scanners they can only scan 1 page (you have to flip the paper to do the back) which should be automatic, like my first post ones for instance.

I'm going to tray the new HP.

Hp has nice network scanning software, i have a model that looks like that at the moment. You can install software on all pc and it uses the wired/wifi network to print out.

try the brother mfc-9840CDW http://www.brother.nl/g3.cfm/s_page/631 ... MFC9840CDW
Color laser with duplex unit for printing AND scanning. Becomes a TWAIN device in the pc so you can select it from every application. And everything running via TCP/IP.
