"flikkeren" 230v LED lamp without dimmer

Post by DJF3 »

Hi,

I recently purchased a LED lamp (G9, 3W, 230v) where you can notice some flickering (not very clear but you do see some "onrust" in the light)
It's connected to a normal switch, no dimmers.

An example of how this looks: Note that the phone camera will emphasize the flickering WAY more than it is in real life!

Left: G9 LED lamp, right: Halogen G9 lamp

Q: Any idea what causes this?
Q: Can it be solved?

Wondering if this is a quality issue or something that just cannot be fixed?

Cheers!

It can be an issue with the powerfeed for example corrosion on the contacts or an issue with Fase / Zero. Make sure the brown (L1) is connected to the plus of the bulb and the blue (null) to the minus of the bulb. Did you als try reversing the bulb?
