Advice

Post by chris10 »

I'm lost in all the possible home automation solutions (probably as many do )
Because of my illness I would like to change some things in my house. Preferably on one panel being tablet or phone.
But it must remain affordable. A Gira or Hager system is straight to the 5000+ euro .
That is not feasible for me.

It should go in particular go for lighting, temperature control and an intercom system (possibly with camera)
with a possibility in the future to open the door remotely.
There is an existing electric curtain rails possibly needs to be in there , sunscreen
and the airco (no idea if it can )
I should not have to pull wires because it is in existing buildings.

Now I understand that sometimes cheap can be an expensive purchase so i dont want a cheap unreliable system.
but it should not be so expensive that I have a system and no money to buy the things I want to control with it.

should it be zwave or knx, so please advice!
This may seem momentarily easily asked but unfortunately my energy level is through my illness too low and it seems almost impossible to find a way in this.
Possibly a tip for a supplier in the north is also very welcome.
