How can I control the circles with a remote

Post by aeh »

Hi, the domotica beurs was great. Thanks for the free tickets.
I had a nice conversation with the guys from Plugwise and Loxx.

I have a question.
How can I control the circles with a remote control (RF).
Is it possible with Homeseer?

You should be able to control Plugwise modules using X10-remote/HomeSeer/RFXCOM.

-Use an X10 remote control to send out a command (say A2 ON)
-RFXCOM receives this and sends it to HomeSeer
-HomeSeer runs an event based on this command that turns on the plugwise module
See this thread: http://www.domoticaforum.eu/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1535

Don't know what the delay will be between pressing the button and the light turning on.

There is no delay.
Plugwise is lot faster than X10
Only delay is the Rf signal from your remote.
