How to disable temporarily

Postby RickyEM » Sun Mar 14, 2010 3:25 am

I love this plug-in. Thanks for developing it. My ippower device is at a remote site and my homeseer computer is at my home in town. The internet often goes down at the remote site where the ipPower device is as it is run by solar power and when it does go down I want to disable loging of the ippower until the internet comes back up at the remote site. Sometimes this takes days to a week.

How is the best way to temporarily disable the plug in so I don't get constant error messages that it can't find the ippower device?

If I unclick "enable" the controller in the plug config page, as I have tried, it deletes all my devices and they have to be renamed and created when I enable the controller. So I don't want to do that. Should I just change the "refresh interval" to a long interval. Should I disable the plug in in the homeseer interfaces page (I haven't tried that). Any ideas?

Thanks for a great plug-in

I would disable the plugin in the interface settings screen.
