Team,

Is it possible to control a light via 2 different methods simultaneously?

Example: Ikea Tradfri light with (square) wireless dimmer

Switch ---(zigbee)---> Light so switching works directly independent of software/hub/gateway
Phoscon --> Conbee II ---(zigbee)---> Light so a computer/API can control the light

If the software is not running you would still be able to control the lights directly but if the software is working it can also control the light.

Q: Can I have a light "registered" with both the nearby switch and the Conbee-zigbee-usbstick+software?

it depends,
with homeseer it works, connect the bulb and remote to the ikea hub and use the tradfri plugin to control it from homeseer (i use it like this)

Which plugin is that? The JowiHue plugin?

No it's the tradfri plugin, not in the updater.
only on the homeseer board. the plugin in the first post is the wrong one, the correct one is a couple of pages further.
