It is!

If you added the hardware ( interface ) its a mater of adding the devices under the device menu. ( green or blue icon with arrow )
In my case it took a few minutes before they all appeared in the device list, as there has to be a form of communication.

Hope that solves your issue

I am not sure, as i am running from a rfbee and am on a 1st generation evotouch.
So i am usb connected with the rfbee on a windows machine and you use the script option on the pi platform.

You could try the find command on the pi from the root this should search your installation for the file evoconfig.py

find . -name evoconfig.py

Domoticz does have a pretty active community so you also could their forum to.

Hallo,

i am using domoticz, a hgi80 usb interface and several honeywell components (hcm200d, several ha30, hd30, hs30, hs-20, hce60 with h200bg, ...)

What ist working: the temperatures of all sensors/setpoints (ha30) show up fine with correct temperatures ... thats all ;-)

My first problem: it isnt possible to change the setpoints. If i change a setpoint in domoticz, it ends up in something like

Code: Select all

2015-04-11 23:37:40 095 W --- 18:004741 01:023944 --:------ 2349 007 000BB802FFFFFF (
                                                                                      ▒▒▒▒)
send via hgi80. But the setpoint doesnt change. The hce60 isnt opening the h200bgs nor the hcm200d shows up the new setpoint. Do you know this problem?

Another thing: I want to control lightning (hd30/hs30) via hgi80. If i switch light on / off the following shows up in the logfiles.

Code: Select all

2015-04-11 23:25:43 045 I --- 01:023944 --:------ 01:023944 2D49 003 000000 ()

That the firmware isnt able to decode hometronic devices makes sence. It's based on sniffing evohome systems and the command with payloads that are known.

I could not change my setpoints either on a old firmware on my very early 1st gen evohome so i guess something has changed.
Make sure you have the latest firmware for the controller and retry, is the best advise i can give.

Hello everyone.
I am French and I read with great interest the thread of the discussion.
What an incredible job !
Today I have the following configuration: EVOHOME V17 first génération (black and white screen)

Is it possible to control my evohome on the V23 version of knowing that this is a first generation evohome (black and white)?

Anyone know where can i find the version 23 ? I read that r_255 was found ...

Thank you for your answers.

Hey Nadhyr, welcome to the forum!

v21 is the highest i ever found... and v23 circulates in private, but you can drop me a line at my mail adres {mynickname} at hotmail dot com
I had to fall back to a winxp machine to install the firmware, but that might be me. ( could not find device on my other machine win7 )

I run the rfbee with hydrogenetic's firmware+domoticz to control my 1st generation evohome ( the b/w )
and as we speak i am using voxcommand ( voice commands ) to do the setpoints for each zone. But as you are french you might have a look at s.a.r.a.h. something i never got running here.

The temprature sensor firmware also works fine and now for more than 3 months on one AA! It also give a better representation of the room temp than the hr80 on the radatior does.
Great work from hydrogenetic! Still have to create a nice box for it.

Cheers,

Robin

Recently bought a second hand EvoHome touch setup (B/W version) that has been upgraded to v23 (thanks r_255!). Now have a question about the discovery of this device with the HGI80. Does this work automatically or do you have to give in some device id for the EvoHome to get this working? According to some other documentation I found (tridiumeurope.com/storage/downloads/Tri ... 788406.pdf) it looks like an automatic process. Can somebody confirm this?

Also wondering as I see some references to the RFG100 gateway is if people have got this working with the v1 Evohome system. If I look at the honeywell site they only have instruction on how to connect it to the color Evohome version but the menu items I see there are not present in the B/W ones.

Sorry but i cant tell how it should work with a HGI80..
But you could try a rfbee + usb breakout bord, works fine here and no additional setups or web based services.

With in a few minutes domoticz has found the devices i use 4 hr80 and over time you will find iona device
in your devices list.

ps: the temp sensor is still up and running on the same aa bat

Hi everybody,
first of all thanks for your work. Pairing evotouch system with domoticz is amazing.

I've got "old" evotouch system (black and white screen). I don't know witch firmware (I don't know where to find it).
This is not a big deal as I only want to know temperature measured by HR80 and maybe when command is sent to BDR91. I think this is possible, isn't it ?

I am using Rasperry Pi with domoticz and I'd like to use RFbee + UartSBee for that. I've read Raspberry Pi and UartSBee have workarounds, is it still true ?
If RFbee is connected on Raspberry Pi TxD and RxD this would solve this problem, but is it possible ? XBee is something new to me.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Arnaudth,

I know jrosser was connecting the rfbee direct to the pi. But thats about all info i can give you. I am not sure if domoticz on the pi will support this option in the software. Let us know as that might make the whole solution even cheaper.
As i started running domoticz on windows the uartSBee is a must. As we speak i bought a pi2 to try the homebridge/siri option with domoticz, so i might change the platform.

Only receiving data means in most cases the firmware is to old, if you drop me a line ( [r_255] at hotmail.comaccount ) ill send v23 the one that works. Just make sure you have a windows xp machine around as i never got it working on win7

Cheers,

Thanks for your response r_255,
only receiving data is my wish, but a full control would be great !
Is this newer firmware something official or not ? Is it working with old evotouch ?
In fact I'm just afraid of breaking my evotouch, that a pretty expensive stuff.
