Just updated the update-rooted.sh script to 3.996 to allow this new script from eneco/quby.
Funny thing, in their new script they now have the auto-update (auto execute) flag set so that means that normal (non-rooted) toons will now get an auto update. The update-rooted script disables this ofcourse
Blacky's Bos,.. your update should work now.
