Postby estate » Sun Nov 03, 2019 11:37 am

Hi folks :)

I wondered how a rooted Toon get's his latest firmware updates, is it automatically done by the rooted software on the dvice or need I do that manual and howto ?

Where do I find the fw version of my rooted Toon ? so I can check that out ?

You can find your firmware version in the menu under software.

The most recent versions of rooted toons include a TSC (toon software collective menu) with a 'check update' button. This will check if there is a new firmware available and then would let you start that update.

Under water it just starts the firmware update for rooted toons script (https://github.com/ToonSoftwareCollective/update-rooted) which you could run manually yourself also ofcourse.
