I changed the version to 1.3.3 github.com/oepi-loepi/water_ESP_part/re ... 1_mini.bin
it should solve the update issue
Solved the automatic upgoing waterquantity, probably again a faulty connection. Now it works fine, only when using water.
But now I need to calibrate. It’s measuring more water than the watermeter is saying.

Should I go from 500 to 2000 in steps of 100? Thanks for you help
You should take a good look at the cable and at the sensor position. Also, did you sand a bit of the tip form the sensor? It looks like your sensor is not stabel. Each turn of the metal plate of the meter will let the led of the sensor go on. When it is switched off again, the pulse is counted for. If you see too many pulses, position the sensor more "out-center", increase the damping to 1000, take a bit of the blue tip from the sensor or fix the sensor better
Thanks for your help and your verry nice App!
Works now perfectly!

Hi all,

When i'm trying to configure the MQTT config on the Wemos D1, my Wemos stoppes and gets into a sort of boot loop.

--------------- CUT HERE FOR EXCEPTION DECODER ---------------

ets Jan 8 2013,rst cause:2, boot mode:(3,7)

load 0x4010f000, len 3584, room 16
tail 0
chksum 0xb0
csum 0xb0
v2843a5ac
~ld

Booting Sketch...

This happens everytime i want to configure the mqtt password. When i only configure the mqtt username the Wemos is still working.
Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong or is this a small bug in the software?

I want to use the mqqt username and password becourse all my mqtt devices use them.

Where and how did you find this version? I think i did not publish this for the public? Please be aware that i also post test releases on Github sometimes. This because i am testing also with a test group and i am also publishing for other boards. If you tkae the wrong bin, you can end up with a complete wrong version. Releases will be posted here on this forum with a direct link to a tested bin.

Nevertheless i have fixed the MQTT password and name in release 1.3.6:

github.com/oepi-loepi/water_ESP_part/re ... 1_mini.bin

I downloaded it a while ago, from Github. But good to know that you also publish test releases over there :)
For now i downloaded the release in the link you posted here above, and i will test it right away!
Thank you for your quick response and keep up the good work!

Slightly off topic but nonetheless related: any suggestions for a small (cheap, aliexpress?) housing for the wemos?

My Domoticz shows 453 liters of water used. (Domoticz count devider is set to 1.000.000). else the numbers didn't make sense at all

Custom Toon Text Tile shows 301 litrs of water used.
that's weird isn't it.

Current count = 2009

Tomorrow i check again

any clue what going wrong?

So what are you using? The wemos and the software in this topc? The device i sell on Marktplaats? The domoticz option from the setup?

I noticed thet you should use the regular domoticz rfx meter counter and set it to liter.

Hi Rob,
Got your device from marktplaats and everything works great.
I have all the info on Toon and waterflow on Domoticz.
But how do I get water quantity used in domoticz?
I made a device “rfx meter, rfx meter counter” and put that idx on the “IDX Tellerstand” but that only gives me the total waterquantity used.
How can i get an incremental? Like per day, week etc?

Thanks
Eric

Did you input all numbers from your meter including the numbers after the comma (numbers in red) in the webportal of the toonWater.

You should use the rfx counter in domoticz, manually set it to liters and have the divider set to 1. Please read the manual. It is explained set-by-step. https://github.com/oepi-loepi/water_ESP ... moticz.pdf

Otherwise, send me a mail or mpl message. I will help you.

In domoticz you will see the total counter on the tile the first day of use. Tomorrow it will show the daily counter and the total counter on one tile. The other tile will show the current water flow. When younclick log on one of the tiles you with get detailed graphs.

Thanks Rob,
It is working :)
I just had to wait a day, but now I see the quantity used per day.
I have the counter divider from my device set to 1000, is there any other setting I have to do?
