I also went for the downgrade of the thermstat application after a upgrade. Would prefere a downgrade to 5.33.9, but did not found a downgrade solution while keeping my settings.

I'm using the temperatures to check the delta T and the general performance of the furnace.

So thanks for the tip to downgrade thermstat :)

I've downgraded only the thermstat application by downloading the version I previously used, this seems to work but I only tested it for a day so please be aware that things might be broken by doing this.

So far everything seems okay (I can read boiler temperatures again and I have heating working) but the binary increased more than 4 times from the previous version, makes you wonder what they've all changed..

Steps I've used were enable VPN with the update-rooted script, wget the file, let opkg downgrade it and reboot.

Code: Select all

sh update-rooted.sh -o
wget http://feed.hae.int/feeds/qb2/POOL/happ-thermstat_1.2404-master_qb2.ipk
opkg --force-downgrade install happ-thermstat_1.2404-master_qb2.ipk
Does anybody know if this also works for the Toon2?
I use the values for my home assistant to switch on/off my floorheating pump!

To answer my own question:

Code: Select all

sh update-rooted.sh -o
wget http://feed.hae.int/feeds/nxt/POOL/happ-thermstat_1.2404-master_nxt.ipk
opkg --force-downgrade install happ-thermstat_1.2404-master_nxt.ipk

nope doesn't work on a toon2, maybe I need another file, does someone know that?

Code: Select all

qb-659916001601-1914A0BTRR:~# opkg --force-downgrade install happ-thermstat_1.2404-master_qb2.ipk
Not selecting happ-thermstat 1.2404 due to incompatible architecture.
Package happ-thermstat (1.2413-master) installed in root is up to date.

I think you need this one: happ-thermstat_1.2404-master_nxt.ipk

Did you update the firmware of Toon?
If yes, read previous posts in this topic. It won't work anymore after a specific version

is it maybe possible to let show thoon in the dim state the modulation leven instead of input temperature if Pressure is selected and otherwise if Modulation level is selected for the dimm state then show Pressure instead of input temp?

in the new version it shows NaN so....

Does the downgrade still work with version 5.49.19?
