Re: Toon app: Buienradar
I rather prefer to find some other weather service which can give actual temperature per location. Question is:will these be better than Buienradar as no other weather service has weather stations in every city.

Buienradar uses the KNMI network as far as I know. And is part of a larger network (The World Meteorological Organization (WMO)). I guess all those weather apps uses data from this network.Toonz wrote:Question is:will these be better than Buienradar as no other weather service has weather stations in every city.

Re: Toon app: Buienradar adjust color Raintile
An question about the RainTile in dimmode:
If i would like to adjust the color of the 'rain-graphic' (if rain is expected), which part in the QML i have to adjust?
Normally i see an colocode in hex, but i don't see anay hex color now related to that graphic.
(Now its purple and i would like to test it in another colors).
Thanks

Re: Toon app: Buienradar
Hey,
Is it also possible to add horizontal lines every 2mm?
So you can see from a distance if a large peak is just 4mm of Rain or 12mm.
Thanks,
Jos

Re: Toon app: Buienradar
The city of Rotterdam has a project going on having a rainradar installed on the Delftse Poort building (Rotterdam regenradar). It is way more accurate than the KNMI C-band radar but it has a limited range. They're testing and tweaking the system, but an app will be released for AppStore (iOs) and the Playstore (Android). I don't know if they'll release an API.Templar wrote:Buienradar uses the KNMI network as far as I know. And is part of a larger network (The World Meteorological Organization (WMO)). Re: Toon app: Buienradar
Hi all,
version 8.5.6 is available in the ToonStore.
Changelog:
- the rain prediction graph was showing in purple in dim state instead of grey
Kind regards,

Re: Toon app: Buienradar adjust color Raintile
Sure, you can change the color in line 72 in /qmf/qml/apps/buienradar/BuienradarRegenTile.qmlJoskep wrote:An question about the RainTile in dimmode:

Re: Toon app: Buienradar
Probably better to make a new app for this as it only applies to one city. I would like to keep the buienradar app generic for the whole country.Templar wrote:The city of Rotterdam has a project going on having a rainradar installed on the Delftse Poort building Rotterdam regenradar. Re: Toon app: Buienradar
I forgot to attach the hyperlink of the Rotterdam Regenradar website, I edited the original post. But here is a picture of the range and accuracy, as you can see its range encompasses the Rijnmond area. The KNMI images have a resolution of 1x1 km, the Rotterdan regenradar of 100x100 m.Toonz wrote:Probably better to make a new app for this as it only applies to one city. In dim state the left axis is still purple.Toonz wrote:version 8.5.6 is available in the ToonStore.

I do prefer the purple graph in normal state instead of dark gray...

Re: Toon app: Buienradar
I have not updated my Toon (4.10.6) or the Buienradar app (8.3.3) in a very very long time.
And now discovered that Buienradar stopped updating on 21-Jul-2020 at 13:00.
Is this expected?
