Not sure what you mean.
I use Filezilla to connect to Toon, and then edit stuff with emacs, within Filezilla, and always keep a shell open to see what's going on.

Is a recipe for it available for openembedded?

Edit: Never mind, found one. Will give it a shot.

... and ready for testing (not exactly bleeding edge, but hey, none of toon's software is ...).

(not available from the ToonStore, I don't think it's an application many people require).

These are the files you need:

http://files.domoticaforum.eu/uploads/T ... .0_qb2.ipk
http://files.domoticaforum.eu/uploads/T ... 16_qb2.ipk

Just yell if something's missing.
And remember: These packages haven't been tested. So if it doesn't work like you expect it to, it wasn't me ;-).

Did you install the dependency first (ncurses-libncursesw)?

No I didn’t, I don’t want to install too much junk on the Toon, it’s already slowing down with the apps I have now.

Dependencies are parts of software that are required to make others run.
If you don't want to install them, then the code that depends on them won't work, and won't even install ...

ONe other question, dont know if this is the right tread.
Id like to change the startup logo, i found in the folder themes loadscreen_0 and _1 but there is a third logo, the first one, where can i find this one? So Loadscreen_0 is the second logo and _1 is the third.

loadscreen_0.png is the third.

The first resides in flash (/dev/mtd 1 or /dev/mtd2, don't remember which one, now)
The second is a framebuffer image and resides in /usr/share/images/image-nl-bootsplash.bmp.gz
Third, the qt-gui loads loadscreen_0.png, and loadscreen_1.png comes fourth.

The Qt Quick documentation contains a sample rss reader in qml doc.qt.io/qt-5/qtquick-demos-rssnews-ex ... ample.html.
Might implement this on Toon at some point (when I have time available), if others feel inspired please do so. :)

Kind regardz,

Toonz

I think I need to get a second Toon to do tryouts.

It sued be nice if you could clone the Toon in an vmware and play with it.
