Connecting a wireless Thermostat

Post by rgrh »

Hello,

I'm very new to this forum, it is my first post.
I want to buy an OpenTherm GW but I wonder how exactly it will be connected to my current installation.
My Boiler is a De Dietrich "Twineo EGC 25" and my Thermostat is a wireless Model De Dietrich "AD303".

Currently my Boiler is wired to a Base station (="RF-Base Station"). Then the Thermostat is connected "wirelessly" to this base station.

If I want to connect OTGW, do I have to do it this way ? :

BOILER --> OTGW (BOILER CONNECTOR)
BASE Station --> OTGW (THERM CONNECTOR)

So my Thermostat will still be connected to the Base station which will be connected to the OTGW.

Thanks for your help !

Yes, that is exactly how you should connect things.
