WiFi, MQTT, html controller for ITHO ventilation box

Post by Bwired »

Hi Guys
Finally a full control solution for the ITHO :-)
NEW version 1-2021

I have installed this ITHO Add-on for my ITHO home ventilator. Now able to fully control the ITHO vent :-)
This fits nicely in to you existing ITHO and you don't need to solder anything.
It has an extra 868mhz transmitter and existing ITHO remotes are learned in by this add-on

This way you are in full control and can even see (or get an MQTT message) when somebody pushes the remote.
So controlling it via your home system and the remotes is fully possible now, also always the exact status.
Check the website where you can order the PCB for more details.

Tested with Itho Daalderop CVEs from late 2013 and 2019 (PCB no. 545-5103, 545-5103, 545-5104, 05-00492, 210-0177, 05-00492, 210-0177), also confirmed working on other models. Most important, look for the 2x4 pin interface on your main itho PCB (encircled in red on the fifth image). If this interface is present it is likely the module will work.

Yes, i have one in combination with homeseer and it works flawless.
If you have an itho with a built in humunity sensor, it is better to remove the sensor

it's on the backside of the pcb (just pull it off)
the controller does not know if the sensor activates the ventilation box.
So if the sensor enables the box you can't see it on youre ha software

same reason you have to add the remotes to the new pcb and not add them to the box itself.

Ok found it and removed it :-)
Would be a good idea to attach this hum sensor to the esp32
So we have that on the mqtt as well

Nice, just bought an itho box and was wondering how to control it. Guess what the good old domotica forum had the answer!
Kudo's to arjanhiemstra and wired
