OTGW "factory" reset

Post by DavidLewis »

Hi. I have the Wifi version of the NodoShop OTGW. All is working very well!

How can I reset the OTGW to "factory" settings please? I have been experimenting with various different thermostats, including overriding various OpenTherm messages, but I'd like to make sure that nothing is still overridden by the OTGW when I swap to a new thermostat.

At the moment, I am running with GW=0 to make sure that all messages are just being passed through. I have tried GW=R, but I suspect that just resets the running executable, rather than resetting all the data stored in non-volatile memory. I would like to be running with GW=1 normally.

Any tips please?

Thanks!

To get the OTGW back to its initial state, perform a firmware upgrade with the "Transfer old EEPROM settings to the new firmware" option switched off.
