Hello from Thailand everybody, especially Bert.
Reading through a lot of post everywhere it is not clear if I can get all my RFXCOM device in my old Dutch house, working in Home assistant.
Still running HS3 to forward the Visonic signals and controlling the Harrison curtains but it would be nice to run it all from one place.
We have 3 ethernet connected boxes with 433 and 868 and one I/O box connected. (a little lost in the naming) but in HS3 they are called transmitters (port 10002)
Receivers (port 10001) and the I/O board (port 30704).
All been rocksolid for many years and don't want to give up on them.
In Home assistant I can add the RFXCOM integration but it doesn't want to connect to my black boxes over TCP.
The integration seems mainly geared to the newer USB devices.
If anybody got these sets working over TCP, please let me know the config you used. Also curious to how much of the sets I can still use in Home-assistant. I probably can replace the I/O bord with an ESP32 but at least would be good to know what is possible and what is not.
Thanks in advance!
Bastiaan

Re: Home assistant RFXCOM
HA has a very limited support for only one RFX433XL.
The old RFXLAN is not supported in HA.

Thanks Bert,
I will need to keep the old HS running and forward device to HA. Good to know.

Re: Home assistant RFXCOM
The old RFXLAN is only supported by Homeseer.
The new RFX-433 and RFX-433EMC have USB and Wifi.
And can be extended by LAN.
