Installatie Merten Connect
I've ordered several inserts and sensors from the Merten Connect (z-wave) system. The dimmer works perfectly. However the switch gives some problems. The light tries to get on after I have put it off and in the on-position it doesn't have a stable level of light. The switches I have bought are 'Elektronic Schalteinsatz (576799)' and the switch (504419). Somebody has an idea what I did wrong?
Iemand enig idee?

Switches are working just fine. Do keep in mind they require a minimum load of 40 Watts to work reliably.

Willem, that was exactly my problem. Have attached a higher watt lamp and everything works perfectly. Do you know how I can switch lower watt lamps (tl/led/etc?) via Merten connect and which insert I would need?

Switching to English before people get upset. There are various options, you could e.g. go for the 3-wire version (576897), but then you would need that additional wire (neutral) which is not always available.

Indeed Willem, I totally forgot to post in English.
I have a further question related to the installation.
I would like to install a screen controller. Therefore I have bought a Merten Connect Jalousiesteuerungs Einsatz (580698). There are four available wire connections. My old system had 5 connections:

How should I connect my new Merten Connect system with the old wiring?

I have no experience with a "Jalousiesteuerungs Einsatz" perhaps our friend from ezHome can be of assistance.

@Arno,
5 wires is normal:
1= Powerline
2= Nutral
3= Ground
4= Up
5= Down
Let's make z-wave EZ

Indeed, this did fix the problem. Many thanks to ezHome!

Yeah, even on the 24" it was a little out of proportion

When my second package was delivered I came across two other connection puzzles. I've got too little electronic wiring experience to solve this puzzles and because I was extremely pleased with solving my earlier problems with your help, maybe someone knows what to do.
I will start with the first one (bathroom). At the moment there are two switches (no dimmers) in the bathroom. The upper one controls the lighting (three halogen lightning spots see attached picture and the power socket), the lower one didn't have any function at all. The current wiring is also attached as a picture.
Should I connect a Merten Connect switch or a dimmer to the upper one? And how should I connect the wires? Can I skip the lower button/wiring?
Thanks for any suggestions...

In this case I would connect a switch.
But you mention the lower one doesn't have any function but is is wired....... was it a normal central room light?
If you don't wanna use it any more you can just leave it out of the wiring.
Connetion is:
L=Brown
N=Blue
Switch=Black
The wires to the lower switch you don't have to connect to the new switch.
