I wonder what x10 receiver is build into the building block. What would be nice, since the software is open source, to put it online too. So people can see it and know if they can build further with it. Support for rfxcom would be the next step. Then i think you have a nice device (ip webcams would be no problem)

you can now see a live version.. looks nice though. Only the placement of the buttons is done by using x-y axis values, which would be nicer if you use some intelligent scripts to place them where you want. But never the less its still good, you dont often change the buttons once its all configured anyways.

No info about controlling the RS232 and USB, I'm I right that it's only controlling X10 devices?
Very little information in the manual about events (scenario's), what is possible? If device X goes on and device Y has a certain status then......... and so on, no info on that. Also nothing about logging events.
Again a self made programming script (BuildingBlock script) which is not standard and very often has few functionality. The userinterface on the website looks very simple with the aged buttons, they could do a better job on that!
It's about time all the suppliers hookup together.
The housing looks very solid and the 1
The demo device is offline?? can anybody login?
I'm anxious about the first review, who's buying it?

i did see the live login, i asked about the software if i could have a copy it basicly came down to "its not freely availible but its adjustable" so i think you can only change some php pages and some html pages, the rest is still private. If that is the case, its a no-go for me and i think the rest here
The downloads are only possible from the buildingblock website itself as far as i have it correct. I asked some more questions.. so i should know more soon.

in DUTCH though..
