Vera, android, christmass.... the recipe for Elisa

Post by structor »

Sitting underneath the Christmass tree is not my favourite passtime, so I decided to fool around a bit with controlling the vera on my android phone. After a while I got something usefull which I baptized Elisa which is a mixture of the names of my two doughters.

The features from Elisa are:
  • 1) Communicate with vera remotely
    2) Communicate with vera locally
    3) Display + switch binarylight
    4) Display + switch dimming light, dimming display is implemented control not yet
    5) Display temperature (from 3in1 pir)
    6) Display light intensity (from 3in1 pir)
    7) Display motion detected + armed status
Todo's:
  • 1) Finish floorplan in elisa
    2) Try to put floorplan data in vera
    3) Implement hiding of devices / rooms
    4) Switch xbmc pc on / off through vera (implement upnp device)
    5) Read status xbmc pc in vera (upnp device )
    6) Read status xbmc synology in vera (upnp device )
    7) Show and control scenes in elisa

Work in progress, a hardcoded mock layout without any devices yet:

I am trying to decide what to do with the program, I am leaning towards placing it in public domain.
