i live in the netherlands. ì have both now and can't find any hardware difference. I don't anderstand why proliphix don't want to chance a nt10e to nt20e online, but they want you to ship it from europe to usa and back for an upgrade from nt10e to nt20e. Their webite can read my proliphix, so they can chance it at well .the costs of shipping back and forth are the same as a new proliphix nt20e.

Re: difference proliphix nt10e nt20e
I believe the only difference is that the nt20 allows for more external "temperature" sensors. This is a hardware thing as i can recall.. but i've never seen anybody use the external sensors on it..

i do. i think the difference is in the oid not rewritable , you can see it in the upgrade software. the upgrade software checks in the oid which type it is.
but really i have studied 2 hours on the two prints.

The NT20e model supports two external thermal sensors for zone thermal averaging, outdoor temperature reporting, or other uses.
I ordered #2 NT20e Tstats.

you can put your own name as installer in the thermostat
write the oids
the simplest way is to use the next command in the browser.
http://proliphixipadress:proliphixport/
pdp?OID2.6.1=installername&submit=submit
etc etc

That's an undocumented API object you found there

the code, you can find in the upgrade software from proliphix , the xml file, the software backs up all the information from the proliphix and writes it back after upgrading.
i have also bought a rfxcom lan receiver , the most simpel model old without webinterface to see what the possibilities are. . they use lantronixs hardware and software, i wonder which proliphix uses, it is no lantronixs.
