Just got the new speeds, after resetting modem it worked still waiting where the 120 stays

I dont get anymore then this, did some reboots etc but no change.
I had Ziggo a long time ago and did not change the outlet which came with tha Arris modem, could this be the problem?

I have also the Arris modem
Router is Fritzbox.
Next upgrade from ziggo need also upgrade of the fritzbox.
I hope that Ziggo also will support / deliver the new Fritzbox with build in cable modem

i did put on the outlet that came with ziggo, but besides that i have the same setup as you pieter, so that should not be the problem.

I will raise an issue at Ziggo, so they can check.
For now our routers are sufficient, but like Enver is telling if we go beyond the 100Mb the we need to upgrade to take the full bandwith.
On the other hand 100Mb is for now great for me

There where some settings in my vigor Router not Right and QOS was standard on.
Loaded a new firmware and now the speed is good.

http://speedtest.ziggo.nl gives a strange result, it says my download speed is 471 Mbit/s.
Also if i use http://www.speedtest.net/ to amsterdam gives:
http://www.speedtest.net/ to paris gives:
Probably the max cause of my router, thats max 100 Mbit/s.
So now the question is whats a good and faster router

Goed nieuws! Ziggo heeft uw snelheid gratis verhoogd. Voor u als Alles-in-1 Extra abonnee betekent dit dat uw huidige downloadsnelheid is verhoogd van 80 Mbit/s naar 120 Mbit/s. Hiermee heeft u nu én in de toekomst nog meer plezier en gebruiksgemak van uw internetverbinding.

i got the same speeds as pieter, but i got a mail today saying i would have 120mbit. But i only get 80, must be slowly coming.

I try to tell everyone that the max speed of the interface isn't likely the same as the throughput. So if you say that your router is max 100 Mbit/s. Than that is your interface i guess? AVM told me in 2009 about the 7270 (but that's int. speed max 100):

Ja, 24 mbit/s klopt als de WAN aansluiting als de ADSL connectie wordt
gebruikt. Wanneer met de WAN connectie LAN 1 wordt gebruikt heeft de 7270
een througput die richting de 90 mbit/s gaat. 50 mbit/s mag dus geen
probleem zijn.
