Dear Forum Members,
For one of the projects I have been working for as project manager ,is to lower the power consumption of all workstations.
On the moment there are running several discussion or fairytales about power savings.
I know several people has running plugwise and / or other power measurement tools.
Just searching for some numbers of used power per workstation.
Especially the power usage when the Workstation is running with load , running without load , standby usages.
Any information regarding workstation power management would be helpful. Almost every workstation is a new version ( or at least 2 years)
Many thanks in advance for you´re help.
best Regards,
Marco
who is able to help me with some energy measurments.
Re: who is able to help me with some energy measurments.
Plugwise (the company) has been collecting this data from many of their customers for a long time, they should be able to provide you with great statistics. Maybe they want monet for it, but they surely have the data.
Here is a reference:
My 5 years old PC with tft monitor uses 120 to 200 Watt when in use, and nothing when off (standby does not occur).
