asus wl-500 and rs232

Hi All,

Sorry, i'm a bit new here and have some questions. I hope there are some people who can and wants to help me out .
I want to set up a domotica system throught RS232 through asus wl-500 router (as webserver)
how can i read the communication ? I thinks you will suggest php too. How to read in and out?

My experience with php is limited, but I guess the results from the link I mentioned will give you a good starting point.

Thx Digit,

but it doesn't have to be php, was more a suggestion. Especially for asus router. Little system to run and can be reached everywhere .
Vb on a webserver is not possible, i thinks.

my mention was to reach my domotica through internet (read temperature, state of contacts etc) and saving to a stick .
thats why i want to ask it.
So i try here to get help with information also.

Looks like my Micasaverde Vera. That is based on WL-500, too. The firmware is named Mios nowadays. Maybe there is some open source you can use.
Vera has RS-232 support. Check their forum.
