ok, so now when I want to reinstall the webcam, I go to Toon store, remove webcam app, then "Toon bijwerken"
Toon reboots…
Toon comes back, I go to Toon store, reinstall the webcam app, then Toon again reboots (I see the downloadsign in the header) and then nothing happens.
webcam app isn't installed.
Viewen with CLI into apps folder I can't see a folder created for webcam....

Toon thinks the webcam package is still installed.
Did you remove the webcam folder manually?
That is not the correct way to uninstall packages.
Go to the command prompt and enter:
opkg remove webcam

After that you can install again via ToonStore

Wow, thanks Toonz, I indeed removed it manually.
After opkg remove command reinstalled the webcam, app now working again.

But now when inserting my cam (Foscam) in WebcamApp.qml like:
http://ip-adres:port/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=webcamusername&pwd=webcampassword and saving the file via "WinSCP" Toon becomes unresponsive.

Whats the good way to edit htese files without Toon getting unresponsive?

ok, good to hear. I do not have a webcam myself, just tried the default webcam from the alps provided by the app.
The performance on Toon 1 with real-time video isn't overwhelming by the way ;-).

Hi all,

a small maintenance release 1.0.5 has been published in the ToonStore.
Changelog:
- settings are now stored in the /mnt/data/tsc folder
- config screen edit function didn't work on the latest firmware(s)
- compatible with firmware 5 only, support for lower firmwares has been dropped
