okay..:)
for every key you need to create a event.
and for every action another event..like arm, disarm and Lightson2
in the action event just put the actions that you want.

my Alarm Arm event
Lock the frontdoor
Turn on soft alarm
Turn of the lights
Turn off the AV
Run event powersave

Powersave will turn of other devices in my house

this is the script keyfob.vb (since version 9 of Rfxcom plugin there is no need for resetting the key...last line)

Code: Select all

Sub Main(parms As String)
  Dim i As Integer
  i = hs.DeviceValue (parms)
  Select Case i
      Case 2
         ''ArmAwayMaxDelay
           hs.TriggerEvent ("Alarm Arm")
      Case 5
         ''Disarm
           hs.TriggerEvent ("Alarm Disarm")
      Case 9
         ''Lightson2
           hs.TriggerEvent ("Alarm Lightson2")
  End Select
'' Reset Keyfob
hs.SetDeviceValue (parms,0)
End Sub

Most of these things can also be done when you use an XM10 to send the status of the alarm console on the powerline. Using the XM10 it does not matter how to turn on/off the alarm, either using a keyfob, the console or an MKP150.

@Wifi YW
@Rene,
Thats true..only problem is that some of the actions will be delayed
Like Arm...command will be send after 45 seconds...when the Alarm is active
I don't want to wait 45 seconds before the frontdoor will lock.

@Chak: Is this because of the delay configured within the Visonic?

Yes...and I like to have a bit more control.
This way I can also trigger other things depending on the keyfob.

OK. As I mentioned before, my RFXCOM receiver, can not be trusted to pick up every signal sent using a keyfob. Sometimes these signals are missed while they are being received by the Visonic console. This is possibly due to the location of my RFXCOM receiver and the signal being sent by a keyfob not being that powerful.

I had the same problem in the past..after firmware upgrade receiver will receive 99,5% of every signal
also location change did help lot.

Chak.. Me again.

When I use the "keyfob" to arm the system (as in Away) I see as status (for the keyfob): Disarm
When I use the "keyfob" to disarm the system I see as status (for the keyfob): Arm Home - Min

As you can see this is mixed up. Do you have the same problem?
Also.. The keyfob is seen as a type: KR10/21/SH624/MCT234 Security Sensor
Again. Do you also have this?

Rene is also correct with RFXcom / Homeseer missing the signal. I've made a small test event to turn on a light when the keyfob value changes. RFXcom /Homeseer does miss the change some times even when the Visonic receives it.
The RFXcom receiver and Visonic unit are sitting at the same place.

Is the keyfob status not correct even when you refresh the status page?

about receiver sensitivity see this thread: http://www.domoticaforum.eu/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1644

The crazy thing is that sometimes it's correct, and sometimes (most of the time) not.
Even after refreshing (F5) the page!
Also the only values shown are "Arm Home - Min" and "Disarm". I think that it should also show something like "Away"?
Whatever I try on the "keyfob" I can not get this to show within Homeseer.
Tomorrow I will do some testing with the RFXcom receiver, and see what values are received.

Okay.
I got a MKP-150, and managed to get it to work.
Again the manual SUCKS.

This is wat it tels you to do in the manual from the MKP-150
(in dutch)
(4) MKP-150 inleren/wissen op de powermax+/powertalk

2. INLEREN (keuze) > INLEER TYPE (volgende) INLEER DETECTOR (volgende) LEER KEYFOB IN (volgende) INLEER MCM-140 (volgende) INLEER MKP-150 (keuze/ok)

Now.. The Powermax Pro does not have the same options as beening told in the manual from the MKP-150
This is what my Powermax Pro is showing under the 2 menu

2. ZENDER INLEREN (keuze) > INLEREN TYPE (volgende) INLEREN SENSOR (volgende) LEER KEYFOB IN (volgende) LEER EXT KP IN (volgende) LEER LCD KP IN (volgende) LEER SIRENE IN (volgende) PROX INLEREN

As you can see. It does not have the INLEER MCM-140 and INLEER MKP-150 options.
Instead of the INLEER MCM-140 and INLEER MKP-150 I guess it's now showing LEER EXT KP IN and LEER LCD KP IN.
I used the LEER LCD KP IN, and managed to get it to work, but again a lot of confusion for such a simple task!

Really.. Visonic GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!

Wifi, you are probably unlucky with the version of the manual provided with your Visonic Powermax. I have installed my PowerMax Pro 3 weeks ago I didn'nt have any problems with programming the unit. Everything was clear, even the manual was 99% accurate compared with the actual menu's in the system. Version of my installation manual (dutch) is D-3012-1 (rev. 0, 09/07). See the last page of your manaul in the small text.

I'm very happy with my Powermax Pro, works perfectly!

The version nr of my Installation manual (Dutch) is: D-300620 (rev. 0,2/07)
The version nr of my Gebruikershandleiding (Dutch) is: D-300622 (no rev. nr found)

I guess I need to get a newer Installation manual!

Version of my Gebruikershandleiding: D-301202 (Rev. O, 07/07). You need a newer version for sure!
