Vera is Z-Wave and a little more. (Some X10, IR, RS232)
Vera lacks IF/Then in scenes. Hence you have to program LUA to get advanced scenes.
Micasaverde have trouble delivering a stable firmware. But they have a lot of satisfied customers.
I don't know Homeseer.
