How did you open the z stick? After first doing some testing (see how zwave works and how the stick works) i'm planning on creating a rs232 connection to the stick. The idea is to open the stick and make a flatwire connection to a rj45 plug and then close the stick again so it will look neat and gives me also the posibilitie to connect and disconnect nodes.

Just press a nail or small flat screwdriver along the joint at the sides. Mine has been opened a couple of times, and still look nice.
But be careful, the clasps are fragile.
