Once in a while the velux skylight is still open when it starts to rain and it is easy to forget it is still open. I would like to add a magnetic contact to the window but i`m not sure which one to choose since there is little space available. If possible i would like a build in contact

I already have some of these on the doors just to detect motion and switch the lights on/off but i don`t think it is the best solution for the velux skylight

I've mounted similar contacts in my Velux windows. I drilled the holes in the frame without problems. But you're correct, there's not much space.
