Fibaro dimmer with jung dimmer

Post by geritz81 »

For most of you this will probably be marked as a stupid question, but I would like to doublecheck.

Recently I bought a hc2 incl the new dimmer modules FGS-212

I have a double switch incl dimmer which I would like to replace.
The dimmer I currently have installed is a 1252 ude Jung Dimmer.

Is my understanding correct that I do not need the dimmer itself anymore?
If I replace it by the fibaro with a 'multipulsdrukker' http://www.elektrototaalmarkt.nl/jung/b ... 24/532-4u/
I would be happy with the extra space in the wallbox because if the dimmer needs to stay it is going te be difficult to squeeze it all in there

The same is applicable for the old school Flipswitches...if combined with fibaro dimmer module the lamp gets dimmable without an actual dimmer..

Thanks for the input!

The fibaro module is the actual dimmer, you only need pulse buttons for the local control of the dimmer :D

You can replace the wall module with you push buttons and place the fibaro dimmer inside the pattress box (inside the lamp)
Running HS3PRO on PC with Z-Wave / OpenTherm / Plugwise / RFXcom / MQTT / XAP400 / Logitech Media Server and Squeezelite on PI`s
