Identifying tactical switch

Post by zjokkeh »

Hello,

First Of all I am new to the forum, so Hello!!!

Question.

I have an existing domotica system of a belgium brand and I would like to replace it with a home made (Arduino/Rpi). I just can't figure out how to read my switches. The existing system is wired in a loop, that means that a UTP cable runs from one switch to another. The switches are identifyed witch a small "ID block" (an electrical component embedded in epoxy resin). Does somebody know how this works? Or has somebody another idea to identify the switches? Rewireing is not an option...

If it is not an issue to post a brandname on this forum, I can upload the official installation pdf.

Tnx,

Joris
