3 fase in meterkast?

Hi,

Groeten,
Zyx

Please this forum is in English!
There is a lot of info on this forum about 3 fase.
I try to post a picture of my 3 fase fusebox setting later.
Do you have the PMIX in the fusebox closeth, its the best place place to mount!
regards.Pieter

Ah, i was confused because some older posts are in dutch. The PMIX35 is mounted in the fusebox closeth, right where it's supposed to be.

I attached a picture of the power-input of my home.

Yep, 3-phase. You will need a repeater.

Grmbl, you you happen to know if you can install a repeater yourself without too much work? :) I know a bit about power, but i don't have the required 16A 3 fase group the manual talks about.

So i guess i need to install that repeater aswell as a new 16A 3 fase group right?

You can do most yourself, depending if you need to open something for the seal. If you remove the seal you have issues, but that all depends on how its made at the moment. I for instance cant open the box with the main breaker, because that would brake the seal.

Ok, one more qestion, is a sperfilter actually required?

I'm doubting if i should only install the repeater or do it proper and install repeater+sperfilters.

http://www.waakzaamwonen.nl/catalog/pro ... ekoppelaar

Doing it proper would set me back an extra 400 euro compared to just the repeater.

Anyone has any experience with sperfilters? Like horror stories solved with sperfilters?

Cheers,

I think the spear filters also makes sure you dont get any strange signals from outside your house (or from other houses that have something similar too) i've not heard really horror storrers, but i dont have them at the moment and sometimes its like a christmas tree on my log files.. (although my parts work)

Does your fusebox have room for a 3-phase fuse?

Installation of a repeater is easy. I use a 3-phase PLCBUS repeater and did the modification of the fusebox myself. Installation of the FKX (Xanura X10 repeater) can be done exactly the same way.

This is how my fusebox looks after the installation of the repeater:

I used a fuse (4P) to protect the repeater. Cost: About 30 euro. In the lower left corner you will see the 3 filters I added. Whether you need them of not depends on people in the neighbourhood that are on the same transformer and who also use X10 stuff or to block interference from outside. I just added them. Better be safe than sorry.

The seperate residual current circuit breaker ('aardlek') is not necessary, but in my situation worked better because of less cabling I had to do.

The HIFS-35/3-S6 box has the added option of a fuse already included. Although it is cheaper to buy everything seperately, a complete solution like the HIFS box is a nice alternative to building a box yourself.
