Toon heat meter/sensor?

Hi all,
I noticed my meter-unit (and the manual that came with Toon) has an icon for Heat measurement / same port as the Gas measurement. Does anybody know what kind of sensor i can connect (or does it use the same sensor as the Gas sensor?) and where to buy such a sensor?
My Kamstrup heat-meter has a infrared port for readout, but i am unsure if Toon can use this?
